Reupholstered Club Chair

This Skirted ottoman had seen better days! Our client felt that saving this well constructed ottoman from the curbside was worth the 2 day transformation. We even helped find the fabric that matched their sofa.

Great Grandma would have been proud to see the parlor sofa restored. Our team stripped this sofa down to the frame. The first step in the restoration was repair and securing the walnut frame. Then we addressed the refinishing of the wood surfaces. Once the woodwork was complete we re webbed the straps and retied the springs. The fabric selected was from the Marrimac Vintage Fabric Gallery.

Originally crafted and upholstered in the 1920's this chair was reupholstered with a princess theme in mind. The silk polk-a-dot fabric on the body of the chair is accented with a thin multi-colored stripe for the contrast cording. The skirt was finished off with a striped skirt and rosettes over each leg. The original cushion was replace with a down feather cushion.
